What you can expect
The toolkit consists of five modules that can be done separately:
Module 1. Understanding Global Challenges
Have knowledge of a number of relevant, related global challenges and understand their interconnectedness. Be able to use the Global Goals as a framework for your application. Know how to articulate your actions in a constructive way
Module 2. Meaningful Engagement
Understand the principles of meaningfully engaging others. Design actions for various people at various levels of engagement. Have tools to better understand your target group, including the less engaged. Have tools to engage with young people
Module 3. Involve and Cooperate
Understand the importance of involving actors from the Global South. Know the basics of why and how to cooperate. Have tools to make your cooperation with others a success & Have a tool to find relevant cooperation partners
Module 4. Be Gender Transformative
Have knowledge of the history of different approaches to gender equality in the field of development cooperation. Know how to incorporate a gender transformative and intersectional approach in your actions
Module 5. Measure your Impact
Understand the importance of measuring change. Know various methods to measure change. Know how to use various tools to measure the output and outcome of your activity

It’s helpful for shaping your project proposals, as it works alongside the granting guidelines and application form. Toolkit can also be used by all people interested in addressing global challenges.

- Create an account: Fill in your name, email, and create a password. After you’re done, click on submit.
- Verify your email: You’ll receive an email with a confirmation link. Click the link to verify your account.
- Log in: Use your email and password to log into the platform.
- Once logged in, you can explore the 5 different modules!
Yes, the toolkit is completely free for all small and medium-sized civil society organisations that are thinking of applying to the Connect for Global Change program. Other people interested in promoting Global Goals can also use the toolkit.
No, you can go through the modules separately. Each module provides valuable insights, but you are free to choose which ones are most relevant to your project. Just remember that gender-transformative approach needs to be considered in all the project proposals.
No, the toolkit has 5 modules and you can start with any module you prefer. Just open the module you want to begin with on the platform.
Yes. By creating an account you can access the toolkit. The purpose of creating your own account is that this way you can save your progress and results.
Your progress is saved automatically as you go through the toolkit. When you log in again, the platform will show where you left off.
